For SaaS and software companies

Make sure AI quotes your current pricing.

Buyers ask AI to compare tools before they open your pricing page. AI may answer with a plan you retired, a feature you never shipped or a comparison that was never true. FactHound checks its answers against the facts you’ve verified.

Where AI gets software companies wrong

These are common ways AI answers go stale for software companies. They are examples, not measured data.

  • Pricing tiers you retired.

Old pricing lives on in blog posts, launch pages and cached copies. AI can quote last year’s plan names and prices as if they were current.

  • Features you don’t have.

When AI can’t find a clear answer about an integration or a compliance standard, it may fill the gap with what similar products offer.

  • Comparisons you never made.

Buyers ask how you compare with another product. AI writes the comparison from whatever it finds, including pages you don’t control.

What a wrong answer looks like

Example

Relay Desk (made-up)

Question: “How much is the Team plan at Relay Desk?”

What an AI model answered

The Team plan at Relay Desk is $25 per user per month.

Your verified fact

Team plan: $39 per user per month.

FactHound flags it: Wrong. The price in the answer doesn’t match your verified pricing fact.

This is an illustration with a made-up business. It is not a real customer or a recorded AI answer.

How FactHound helps

  • A fact list built for software.

Pricing, free trial, integrations, security and support each have their own place in FactHound, so the answers buyers ask for are written down and verified.

  • The free check looks where buyers look.

It checks whether a crawler can find your pricing, security and documentation pages from your homepage, and whether your page describes your product and plans in schema.org structured data.

  • Ask the real models.

On Pro and Agency, the Simulator sends your question to models from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google with web search on, and shows each answer next to what your verified facts say.

How it works

Set up in three steps. No tech skills.

  1. Step 1: Enter your website.

FactHound reads your site and fills in what it can find, like your name, phone and hours. You add the rest.

  2. Step 2: Check your facts.

Look them over, fix anything that’s off, and approve them. You’re the only one who can.

  3. Step 3: Turn it on.

On WordPress, install our plugin in a couple of clicks. On any other site, paste a short snippet into your settings. We walk you through every step.

That’s it. Your website looks exactly the same to visitors. AI just finally knows the truth.

What FactHound doesn’t do

  • FactHound doesn’t write or verify competitor comparisons. It checks answers about your product against your facts.
  • It can’t see what buyers ask AI assistants. Predicted gaps are questions buyers commonly ask, not a log of real chats.
  • Live answers come from each company’s API with web search. The same question in the consumer app can get a different answer.

Questions, answered.

Update the fact in FactHound and it is republished. Changes on your website are picked up on the next read: weekly on Free, daily on Pro and Agency.

No. It checks what AI says about your own business against the facts you’ve verified.

It is the accuracy side of it. FactHound doesn’t count how often AI mentions you or rank you against others. It checks whether what AI says about your pricing, features and policies is true.
