Make sure AI describes the restaurant you run today.
Diners ask AI where to eat, whether you take bookings and what’s on the menu. AI often answers from an old menu or from someone else’s page about you. FactHound checks its answers against the facts you’ve verified.
Where AI gets restaurants wrong
These are common ways AI answers go stale for restaurants. They are examples, not measured data.
A menu from two seasons ago.
Old menus stay online as PDFs and cached pages. AI may quote a dish you no longer serve or a price you no longer charge.
A booking policy you never had.
When AI can’t find how you take reservations, it may guess: walk-ins only, book by phone, deposit required. A guess reads the same as a fact.
Two businesses at one address.
Delivery-only brands and shared kitchens confuse AI. It can mix up the names, menus and hours of businesses that share an address.
What a wrong answer looks like
Marigold Kitchen (made-up)
Question: “How much is the tasting menu at Marigold Kitchen?”
What an AI model answered
The tasting menu at Marigold Kitchen is $65 per person.
Your verified fact
Tasting menu: $85 per person.
FactHound flags it: Wrong. The price in the answer doesn’t match your verified price.
This is an illustration with a made-up business. It is not a real customer or a recorded AI answer.
How FactHound helps
The questions diners ask, checked.
FactHound checks a set of common restaurant questions (hours, reservations, dietary options, prices, takeout) against your verified facts and flags the ones with no answer. This is on every plan.
Your real menu facts, published.
Confirm your prices, dietary options and how to book once. FactHound publishes them on your own website in the formats search engines read.
It asks AI every day.
On Pro and Agency, daily monitoring asks an AI model questions about your restaurant, compares the answers with your verified facts and emails you when one is wrong.
Set up in three steps. No tech skills.
Step 1: Enter your website.
FactHound reads your site and fills in what it can find, like your name, phone and hours. You add the rest.
Step 2: Check your facts.
Look them over, fix anything that’s off, and approve them. You’re the only one who can.
Step 3: Turn it on.
On WordPress, install our plugin in a couple of clicks. On any other site, paste a short snippet into your settings. We walk you through every step.
That’s it. Your website looks exactly the same to visitors. AI just finally knows the truth.
What FactHound doesn’t do
- FactHound marks an answer wrong only when it can compare something exact: hours, a phone number, an email address or a price. For a policy written in sentences, like how you take reservations, it tells you when there is no verified answer, and you judge the wording yourself.
- FactHound reads your website. It can’t correct what delivery apps, booking sites or review sites say about you.
- Daily monitoring uses an AI model that reads your website and your published facts. It is an estimate, not a recording of ChatGPT or any other assistant.
